Thursday we were up and ready early for a quick breakfast in order to be ready in time for the bus. After packing for all weather conditions, we piled on the bus, ready and excited for the day ahead and all that was in store. Amazingly, everyone fell fast asleep as soon as we made our way towards St. Pierre. At least that kept everyones breakfast down nicely!

The ride was a long one and we needed a quick pit stop before heading up into the clouds. We were a bit concerned for the weather as there was some mist making its way in towards where we were going. But, hurray, when we got to the volcano it was perfectly clear and actually pleasant temperature wise. What a view! We had a clear and fantastic view of the volcano.































As the weather was so perfect we even had time to stop on the way back at the ‘surface of the moon’ so that everyone, including the staff, were able to collect a few gorgeous stones.







Lunch next and boy were we all hungry!! It was a feast of baguette loaded with meat and salad.






Then it was off to the Volcano City where we were awed by special effects and the 4D theatre, plus loads of interesting facts and quizzes!





















Last up - SHOPPING! Then a snack break before heading up to Les Makes.
