We arrived at the classroom, ready to get to work but we only needed to drop off our bags and walk up to the 'Terrace' to meet Claudie, who was waiting to show the students the sun and the equipment to safely view it.
Claudie set up 2 telescopes - one to observe the whole sun. This made the sun appear bright orange and it was really beautiful! Of course we needed to have a special sun filter attached first, then is was safe.
